The Maladeta is a high-performance twin rope with a diameter of 6.9 mm. Weighing just 35gr/m, you’ll always have one in your backpack. Available in five lengths, it is a versatile rope both for the glacier climber who wants to cross glacial terrain safely and for the Himalayan climber looking for the lightest rope possible. Its Fusion construction provides extra security for overcoming sharp rocks and ridges. We recommend this rope for lovers of lightness, when every gram counts, as well as for mountaineers, mountain skiers and those who trek through alpine terrain.
Located within the limits of Posets-Maladeta Natural Park, Maladeta Peak (3,312 metres) was once considered the highest in the Pyrenees. It is one of the largest mountains in the range and the classic ascent to its summit goes through a corridor and the crest of its southern slope. The ascent to the top of Maladeta can be done at any time of the year. It is a highly popular activity for mountain skiers and mountaineers in winter, while collectors of peaks over 3,000 metres set out to conquer its summit in summer.
